Chinese and Russian warplanes held a joint exercise in the Sea of Japan on Tuesday. And they rehearsed at a time when the Quad Alliance was meeting in Japan.
The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, the President of the United States Joe Biden and the new Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese are currently in Japan to attend the meeting of the Quad Alliance.
During the meeting, Japanese Defense Minister Nobuo Kisi expressed deep concern over the exercise.
Japan's defense minister told reporters that two Chinese bombers on the Sea of Japan joined two Russian bombers and flew together into the East China Sea.
This was followed by a total of four aircraft, two new Chinese bombers - which replaced the previous bombers, and two Russian bombers simultaneously flew from eastern China into the Pacific Ocean. Added the Japanese Minister.
He added that a Russian reconnaissance aircraft flew from northern Hokkaido on Tuesday toward the Japanese capital, Noto Peninsula. These issues are provocative.
He said they had approached him diplomatically and expressed their concerns.
