Taslima Nasrin has been charged in Sweden with spreading false information through social media, personal attacks and defamation. Taslima Nasrin, who now lives in India, says she is unaware of the case. However, he did not say "any lies".
Expatriate poet and playwright Anisur Rahman filed the case with Swedish police on Tuesday (May 31st). Taslima Nasreen said, "If a liar files a case, his lie will be exposed a little more in public."
In 2016, an article by Taslima was published in a news portal in Dhaka under the headline "Fake world". Various "negative comments" were made, including the names of Orne Ruth and Anisur Rahman, the former editor-in-chief of Sweden's Dagens Nihetar newspaper. Recently, Anisur Rahman, in one of his articles, criticized some expatriate writers and bloggers without mentioning their names. Then a new discussion started on social media about that old writing of Taslima.

His plays have been staged in theaters in Norway and Sweden. His two plays are included in the syllabus of the Department of Drama and Drama Theory at Jahangirnagar University.
Asked why he filed the case after all this time, Anisur Rahman said, "I want to protect the right to protest against lies and to seek redressal from security threats and professional harm due to false propaganda, even if it is delayed." I have been thinking of getting a remedy from the beginning. But I could not spend the necessary time on this issue. At the same time, it took me some time to consult with my well-wishers and colleagues at home and abroad, and to look into the legal aspects and seek legal advice. It was also a matter of informing my workplace. "
