Now tourists can buy tickets online to enter the Sundarbans. Tickets can be purchased in advance from any part of the world for a fixed fee. The Sundarbans Department has launched websites and apps for this.
The apps and website were officially launched in the conference room of the Sundarbans West Division on Sunday. The tourist areas of the Sundarbans are mentioned on the website.
The identity and importance of the places of interest have been highlighted. A tourist can know in advance where to stay and how much to visit there.
Places like Karamjal, Galagachhia, Dobeki and Harbaria for a one-day tour are specified when tourists can enter and exit. Also mentioned are instructions for night stay tours and introduction of registered tour operators of Sundarbans Department.
The Sundarbans Division started work in November 2020 under the A2I project of the Prime Minister's Office. The purpose of this project is to make the travel of domestic and foreign tourists easier.
Sundarbans West Division official said. Abu Naser said. Mohsin Hossain said the forest department is implementing this work as part of building a digital Bangladesh. This will make it easier for tourists to travel.
